Project title: Design and validation of an interface for a AI-based dialogue system

Project description (50-100 words suggested): The long-term goal of the project is to build an AI agent able to hold a conversation with a human.  We have recently developed an AI agent able to select appropriate responses for technical support tasks.  We are now aiming to enhance the system with a suitable user interface, as well as improve the scope of conversations that the agent can handle.  The student will be responsible for design, implementation of the new user interface, such that we can test performance of the system with real users.
