Project title: Sensorimotor integration in music performance

Project description (50-100 words suggested): We plan to compare two theories of sensorimotor integration in the context of duet piano performance. Students will learn the psychological literature in timing synchronization and auditory-motor integration of sensory information, as well as how to conduct a psychological experiment, collect and analyse data from duet music performances, run statistical analyses, and write an APA-style scientific report.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): Final report worth 50% of grade; lab performance worth 50% of grade.
