Project title: Conractile properties of muscle myofibrils

Project description (50-100 words suggested): The student will work in collaboration with a graduate student collecting and analyzing data during/after experiments with muscle myofibrils, looking at the effects of diseases that affect the muscular system on contractile properties of skeletal muscles.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): Final grade shall be based on an evaluation of laboratory performance (40%) and a final written report (60%) by the supervisor.
