Project title: Conductance in photoswitchable proteins

Project description: The conductance of photoswitchable fluorescent proteins self-assembled onto gold surfaces will be measured in both the bright and dark states. Measurements will be carried out with AFM and STM, and correlated with the fluorescence signal of solution samples.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.
