 amed to the Mac campus (Raymond building R3-045).\n\nThe schedule is as fo
 llows: \n\n\n	2:00 —3:00 pm: Launch of the first three Research Themes: Ada
 pting Urban Environments for the Future\; Creating Sustainable Materials f
 or the Future\, and Sustaining Landscapes for the Future\; with presentati
 ons on each program and ways to get involved.\n	3:00 —3:40 pm: Presentation
  from our first MSSI Invited Speaker\, Amy Luers for this academic year. A
 my has worked at the intersection of science\, technology\, and policy in 
 sustainability for 20 years and has just arrived in Montreal to take up th
 e post of Executive Director of Future Earth. We are honored that she is t
 aking the time to share her insights with us so soon after her arrival in 
 Montreal and look forward to a stimulating presentation.\n	3:40 —5:00 pm: A
 s always\, the event will end with a reception\, both on the downtown camp
 us and at Mac. We invite you to stay for refreshments and to connect with 
 sustainability colleagues old and new. The reception for the participants 
 at the Mac Campus will be held in the Plant Science Conference Room (Raymo
 nd Building - R2-013).\n\n\nWe have also been asked to inform you that the
  Adapting Urban Environments for the Future theme is holding an open works
 hop on September 27th\, 9:30 am —1:00 pm\, to which you are all invited. M
 ore information on this event will be posted on the MSSI website shortly.
