Trees are a living record of changes in the environment.  Join this guided outdoor walk to explore the variety of trees growing on the McGill downtown campus. Learn how to identify these trees, to read their growth rings and discover how scientists use them to understand climate change.

A walking tour of the fossils, minerals, and secret spots found in the walls of some of downtown Montreal's proudest institutions. The tour starts at the Redpath Museum and ends at the Beaux Arts Museum. Includes a printout of the booklet What Building Stones Tell. In English.

Stones Bike tour

This family-friendly bike trip explores the fossils and rocks, architecture, and secret spots in Montreal's building stones. We will snack near Leonard Cohen's boyhood home on a selection of local fresh market bread, fruit, ciders,  McGill kombucha and cheese. The bike tour ends with the ghosts of Griffintown near the old Lowny's chocolate factory. In English.
