DESCRIPTION:The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse por
 tfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at a
 ny stage\, from discovery to application\, including commercialization\; p
 romote relevant collaborations across disciplines\, professions\, and sect
 ors\; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.
 \n\nResearchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Gra
 nt competition are encouraged to consult the attached Project Grant Regist
 ration FAQ and to attend this information session\, which will include:\n
 \n\n	A presentation about the objectives and full application requirements 
 of the CIHR Project Grant by Kathleen Therrien\, Catherine Karelis and Yla
 una Penalva\, Grants and Agreements Officers with OSR\;\n	A presentation on
  tips and best practices by Dr. Mathieu Maheu-Giroux\, Associate Professor
 \, Department of Epidemiology\, Biostatistics and Occupational Health and 
 previous successful Project Grant applicant and peer reviewer\; and\n	A que
 stion and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any
  questions they may have about the program or the application process.\n		\n
