Tutorials
Tri-Council Policy Statement Tutorial Course on Research Ethics(CORE)- for researchers (students, faculty, staff) and REB members. There is now a revised version (CORE 2022) of this online tutorial consisting of nine modules and a knowledge consolidation exercise. It focuses on ethics guidance that is applicable to all research involving human participants, regardless of discipline or methodology. ***Mandatory human research ethics training***-All Principal Investigator applicants(graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, staff) must have completed the online tutorial prior to submitting an application for review. Supervisors of student applicants are also required to complete this tutorial before submission for review. All study team members are encouraged to complete the tutorial. If you have already completed the earlier version you do not have to complete the revised version, although you are encouraged to review this revised version.
