DESCRIPTION:The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse por
 tfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at a
 ny stage\, from discovery to application\, including commercialization\; p
 romote relevant collaborations across disciplines\, professions\, and sect
 ors\; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.
 \n\nResearchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Gra
 nt competition are encouraged to consult the attached Project Grant Regist
 ration FAQ and to attend this information session\, which will include:\n
 \n\n	A presentation about the objectives and full application requirements 
 of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojkovic\, Senior Grants and Agreem
 ents Officer\, and Kathleen Therrien\, Grants and Agreements Officer OSR\;
 \n	A presentation on tips and best practices by Dr. Stuart Trenholm\, Profe
 ssor\, Department of Neurology & Neurosurgery and previous successful Proj
 ect Grant applicant and peer reviewer\; and\n	A question and answer period 
 where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have
  about the program or the application process.\n		\n		Those who are unable to
