DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, May 15\, Falling Walls Engage Hub Canada and Confab
 ulation present “Combustion: Stories of breakthroughs\, hypothesis and thi
 ngs going up in smoke”. The well-known Montreal-based storytelling series\
 , Confabulation\, comes to Ottawa for a special evening event featuring se
 ven Canadian science engagement practitioners. Each will take to the stage
  for eight minutes to share personal stories on the theme of 'combustion'.
  The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pour Boy Pub (495 Somerset 
 St. W.\, Ottawa) and is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
 \n\nThe Engage Canada Hub\, hosted by McGill\, is part of an international
  platform led by the Falling Walls Foundation in Berlin\, which aims to cr
 eate new links between leading science engagers\, local and regional netwo
 rks\, research institutions\, and citizen scientists\, with the goal of am
 plifying their impact across the country. As one of nine Engage Hubs aroun
 d the world\, Engage Hub Canada plugs Canadian science engagers into a glo
 bal community where they can learn from peers\, build new partnerships\, a
 nd contribute in meaningful ways to address pressing global issues.\n\n \n
