 eguarding Science initiative and is delivering interactive workshops to ac
 ademic and scientific institutions across Canada. The workshop aims to pro
 vide information and guidance to Canadian researchers on how to mitigate t
 hreats to their research\, and what those threats are.\n\nThis includes in
 formation on proliferation risks (i.e. the risks of chemical\, biological\
 , radiological and nuclear proliferation\, and dual-use technology prolife
 ration)\, cyber security\, intellectual property theft\, and best practice
 s for maintaining a security-conscious research organization. It also aims
  to inform participants about Canada's domestic and international counter-
 proliferation efforts and commitments\, and offers tools to help recognize
  and mitigate the specific risks Canadian institutions\, researchers\, and
