DESCRIPTION:The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) will launch the next
  Innovation Fund (IF) competition in Fall 2021 with submissions expected i
 n Spring 2022. The CFI-IF program provides funding for large-scale researc
 h infrastructure that will enable world-class research. For more informati
 on about this program\, see CFI website. To be ready for submission to the
  CFI\, the infrastructure implementation must be carefully planned in term
 s of the research program\, feasibility\, and cost. Sufficient time must b
 e allocated to develop the proposal and related supporting documentation.
 \n\nResearchers interested in applying to the upcoming IF competition must
  submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) whenever possible and at the lates
 t by March 31st\, 2021 in order to initiate the space planning and the int
 ernal review process. Information about the EOI can be found here.\n\nIf y
 ou want to learn more about the program\, please join one of the informati
 on sessions. The presentation will focus on general information on applica
 tion requirements\, overview of the internal selection process and best pr
