DESCRIPTION:Researchers who identify need for research infrastructure* are 
 invited to join an information session about the institutional planning pr
 ocess for large-scale research infrastructure requests with specific aim t
 owards the next major CFI Innovation Fund competition (expected in 2021).
 \n\nFriday\, December 11 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm\n	Wednesday\, January 13 from
  10:00 to 11:00 am \nThe information sessions will include an overview of 
 how to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a potential project\, de
 tails and approximate timeline for the next CFI Innovation Fund competitio
 n\, and questions & answers.\n\nAn EOI for research infrastructure needs c
 an be submitted to the Office of the Vice-Principal\, Research and Innovat
 ion at any given time. The EOI will be matched with appropriate grant fund
 ing programs and will serve to help the Faculties to identify appropriate 
 space for the infrastructure and assess the need for renovation of related
  lab space.\n\n*Research infrastructure refers to instruments\, equipment\
 , and technology development of custom-made tools\, including related cons
 truction or renovation to install the equipment.\n\nPlease register for on
