DESCRIPTION:The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse por
 tfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation projects (or p
 rograms of research) at any stage\, from discovery to application\, includ
 ing commercialization\; promote relevant collaborations across disciplines
 \, professions\, and sectors\; and contribute to the creation and use of h
 ealth-related knowledge.\n\nResearchers who are planning to apply to the u
 pcoming CIHR Project Grant competition are encouraged to attend this infor
 mation session\, which will include:\n\nA presentation about the objective
 s and application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by Katarina Stojk
 ovic\, Grants and Agreements Officer\, OSR\;\n	A presentation on tips and b
 est practices by Dr. Bratislav Misic\, Assistant Professor in the Departme
 nt of Neurology and Neurosurgery and previous successful Project Grant app
 licant and peer reviewer\;\n	A question and answer period where participant
 s will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the progra
 m or the application process.\n		Those who are unable to attend or who wish 
 to provide their questions in advance are invited to send their inquiries 
 to katarina.stojkovic [at] mcgill.ca (Katarina Stojkovic) in advance so th
 at they may be covered during the session.\nYou are invited to register he
