DESCRIPTION:The purpose of CIHR’s Project Grant is to support a diverse por
 tfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation projects at an
 y stage\, from discovery to application\, including commercialization\; pr
 omote relevant collaborations across disciplines\, professions\, and secto
 rs\; and contribute to the creation and use of health-related knowledge.\n
 \nResearchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming CIHR Project Grant
  competition (call guidelines to be released in July) are encouraged to at
 tend this information session\, which will include:\n\nA presentation abou
 t the objectives and application requirements of the CIHR Project Grant by
  Katarina Stojkovic\, Grants Officers\, OSR\;\n	A presentation on tips and 
 best practices from previous successful Project Grant applicants and peer 
 reviewers (including an Early Career Researcher)\;\n	A question and answer 
 period where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they m
 ay have about the program or the application process.\n		Those who are unabl
 e to attend or who wish to provide their questions in advance are invited 
 to send their inquiries to katarina.stojkovic [at] mcgill.ca (Katarina Sto
