DESCRIPTION: \n\nMcGill University's INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS unit is hosting 
 an INFORMATION SESSION ON :\n\nMITACS PROGRAMS\n\nApril 17th\, 2019 in the
  James Administration Building (845 Sherbrooke West)– Room 302\, 10:30 to 
 12 pm\n\nThe goal of this outreach session is to provide information on th
 e available programs sponsored by Mitacs\, which offer financial assistanc
 e to students and post-docs interested in undertaking research through a u
 niversity-business partnership. This session would also benefit faculty me
 mbers as these programs can lead to new connections with Canadian and inte
 rnational companies\, the non-profit sector and international academia as 
 well as increased funding and unique training opportunities for graduate s
 tudents and postdoctoral fellows through applied\, research projects.\n\nM
 cGill will host Mitacs representatives who will present various programs a
 nd provide helpful tips on how to mix and match these programs. They will 
 also provide details on projects that have successfully used these program
 s to the advantage of graduate students\, postdoctoral fellows and researc
 hers. The Industry Partnerships Unit will also provide a quick overview of
  the administration of these grants.\n\nDiscussions will centre on the fol
