DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grants (PDG) i
 s to provide support over one to three years for teams working in formal c
 ollaboration between postsecondary institutions and/or organizations of va
 rious types in the social sciences and humanities.\n\nSSHRC Partnership En
 gage Grants (PEG) are similar\, providing short-term (one year) and timely
  support for partnered research activities that will inform decision-makin
 g at a single partner organization from the public\, private or not-for-pr
 ofit sector (partner cannot be postsecondary institution).\n\nResearchers 
 in social sciences and humanities\, arts and literature who are planning t
 o apply to the upcoming PDG and PEG competitions are encouraged to attend 
 this information session\, which will include:\n\nAn overview of the objec
 tives and application requirements of the SSHRC PDG and PEG funding opport
 unities by Michelle Picard-Aitken\, Grants and Agreements Officer\;\n	A pre
 sentation from Prof. Dror Etzion (Desautels Faculty of Management)\, succe
 ssful applicant and member of the SSHRC PEG adjudication committee\, who w
 ill provide potential applicants with information about the SSHRC peer-rev
 iew system and strategies for preparing a successful proposal\; and\n	A que
 stion and answer period where participants will be encouraged to raise any
  questions they may have about the program or the application process. \nT
