DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the SSHRC Connection Grant Program is to provide
  support for events and outreach activities geared toward short-term\, tar
 geted knowledge mobilization initiatives.\n\n \n\nResearchers in social sc
 iences and humanities\, arts and literature who are planning to apply to t
 he upcoming SSHRC Connection Grant 2017 competitions are encouraged to att
 end this information session\, which will include:\n\n \n\nBrief presentat
 ion about the objectives and application requirements of the SSHRC Connect
 ion Grant Program by Joanna Mastalerek and Maureen Donato\, Grants Officer
 s\, Social Sciences and Humanities\;\n	Presentations from Prof. Eugenio Bol
 ongaro (Languages\, Literatures\, and Cultures) and Prof. Marianne Stenbae
 k (English) who were successful applicants to the program and/or have serv
 ed on adjudication committees and will provide potential applicants with i
 nformation about the peer-review system and strategies for preparing a suc
 cessful proposal\;\n	A question and answer period where participants will b
 e encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the
  application process.\n	\n	 \n\nThose who are unable to attend or who may no
 t feel comfortable sharing their questions are invited to send their inqui
