DESCRIPTION:The Office of Sponsored Research is pleased to invite McGill re
 searchers and administrators to an information session on the Killam Progr
 am.  Researchers who anticipate submitting an application to the 2018 Kill
 am Research Fellowship competition are strongly encouraged to attend this 
 meeting as are potential nominators and/or nominees for the 2018 Killam Pr
 ize.\n\nThe information session will include:\n\n·       A presentation by
  Helen Belvin\, Outreach and Special Events Officer\, Canada Council for t
 he Arts.\n\n·       An historical overview of the Killam Program\, statist
 ical information on past recipients\, an explanation of eligibility and ap
 plication requirements\, tips on how to improve the application/nomination
  and information on the submission process.\n\n·       A general question 
 period.\n\n·       Individuals will be available to meet with the represen
 tative after the presentation to discuss their particular cases.\n\nPlease
