  the McGill community\, the Office of Sponsored Research and Research Fina
 ncial Management Services are very pleased to announce the launch of the R
 esearch Administration Network (RAN) – a new training initiative that will
  provide opportunities to exchange information and tools required to facil
 itate research administration at McGill University while also increasing o
 ur adaptability to the requirements of our sponsors. Starting in January 2
 013\, RAN sessions will be held monthly.  A variety of “cradle to grave” r
 esearch administration topics will be offered encompassing proposal develo
 pment\, award management and financial administration.
