 d Research Financial Management Services (RFMS) are very pleased to announ
 ce the launch of the Research Administration Network (RAN) – a new trainin
 g initiative that will provide opportunities to exchange information and t
 ools required to facilitate research administration at McGill University w
 hile also increasing our adaptability to the requirements of our sponsors.
 \nOn February 15\, speakers from OSR and RFMS will present on the life cyc
 le of grants. They will walk the audience through the different stages of 
 a funded project\, from pre-award to project completion. Along the way\, t
 hey will touch on the various units that are involved during the managemen
 t and administration of a grant.\nRAN sessions are held on a monthly basis
 . A variety of “cradle to grave” research administration topics will be of
 fered\, encompassing proposal development\, award management and financial
