 dressed to researchers who are applying for the first time to SSHRC\, expl
 aining the services provided by the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR)\, t
 he OSR checklist and how applications are processed internally\, including
  a brief question & answer period.\n11:40 am – 11:45 am:  Coffee break \n1
 1:45 am – 1:30 pm:\n\nPresentation about the objectives and requirements o
 f the Insight Development Grants including the new Canadian Common CV and 
 the newly launched SSHRC online platform\; \nPresentation by Prof. Marguer
 ite Deslauriers (Department of Philosophy)\, who served as a Committee mem
 ber at the last Insight Development Grants competition and will provide in
 sider information about the peer review system and strategies for creating
  successful research proposals\;\nQuestion & Answer session\;  For partici
 pants who may not feel comfortable asking a question during the session or
  might not be able to attend the workshop\, we invite you to send your que
 stions in advance to joanna.mastalerek [at] mcgill.ca (Joanna Mastalerek)\
 , who will include them in the question and answer period.\nThe Office of 
 Sponsored Research will offer an internal application guide for this fundi
 ng opportunity\, which will be distributed at the workshop.  \nRefreshment
