News

Published: 7Oct2019

Plasma is the 4th state of matter, and represents 99% of the Universe! On Earth, plasmas are observed in auroras and lightning strokes. In your everybody life, they provide the light in fluorescent tubes and are used to sterilize water. They are the hidden tools used to deposit the protective layers on aircraft engine parts, to build microprocessors, to convert waste into energy, to recover precious metals from scraps, to produce steel and the powders of additive manufacturing. Did you know that they are also used in medicine, agriculture, energy and even to play music? Did you know that plasma processes are key enablers for our transition to a sustainable use of resources and the electrification of our economy? Come visit us!
