 \n\nStarting on Tuesday\, April 18th\, the Redpath Museum will begin the c
 ountdown to Earth Day\, Saturday\, April 22nd. On that day\, the Museum wi
 ll be exceptionally open for a day of special activities!  \n\nFrom Tuesda
 y\, April 18th to Friday\, April 21st\, keep an eye out for several specia
 l temporary features during your visit to the Museum! We hope they will sp
 ark new thoughts and start new conversations about the Earth and all the l
 iving beings that ever walked on it!\n\nOn Tuesday\, April 18\, help us ki
 ck off Earth Week at the Redpath Museum by taking a break and grounding yo
 urself in the Redpath Museum. Join yoga instructor Andrea Velghe for a 30-
 minute beginner-friendly session. Take some time to explore the museum aft
 er.  \n\nWhen & Where: Tuesday\, April 18\, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm\, in
  the Redpath Museum Teaching Laboratory (room 106).\n\nGeneral Admission: 
 No admission fee\, donations only. *Space is available on a first-come\, f
 irst-served basis. A yoga mat is suggested but not required.\n\nOn Wednesd
 ay\, April 19\, to quote environmental scientist and educator Donella Mead
 ows: “Everything is connected to everything else on this planet. This can 
 be good news as well as bad”. So finish off your visit to the Redpath Muse
 um by reflecting on connections through a temporary interactive activity.
 \n\nOn Friday\, April 21\, meet artist Milton Riaño\, who designed one of 
 the museum's temporary exhibitions. Milton will be in our galleries Friday
  from 1 pm to 3 pm to engage with everyone! Visitors will also have a chan
 ce to contribute and respond to Milton's installation!\n\nOn Saturday\, Ap
 ril 22nd\, come for a regular visit\, or participate in our special Earth 
 Day tour.  Take part in a specially designed self-guided tour that will ta
 ke you around the Redpath Museum as you follow the story of carbon\, the b
 asis for all life on Earth. This tour will take you from the Earth’s begin
 nings and first life forms to some of the amazing world cultures that have
  shaped humanity\, not to mention scores of extinct or living animals. Fin
 ish the tour with an interactive activity that connects us all\, before ge
 tting the chance to plant seeds for a more colourful and beautiful future.

 edpath Museum.\n\nGeneral Admission: No Admission fee\, donations only\n\n
 Earth Day self-guided tour: $6 (taxes included) for adults\, and $4 (taxes
  included) for children. **This price includes seed paper and soil. BRING 
 YOUR OWN CONTAINER!**\n\n \n\nWe are proud to announce that our event has 
 been awarded Silver Sustainable Event certification by the McGill Sustaina
 ble Events program run by the McGill Office of Sustainability. \n
