Advance reservations must be made for all group visits regardless of size. To submit a request for a group visit, please complete our online reservation form (coming soon!).
Once you have submitted your form, we will contact you by email to confirm the time and date of the visit.
We offer groups a choice of Guided or Non-guided tours and Science and Culture Labs (SCL).
For any type of visit, the Museum can accommodate groups of 50 participants maximum, including accompanying adults EXCEPT for the science and culture lab, which is limited to 30 participants maximum. Groups larger than this number will be contacted and offered multiple visits on the same or different days. In any case, do not hesitate to redpath.museum [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Inquiry%20on%20group%20activity) (contact us) to inquire about the possibilities!
**Kindly note we cannot group visits of any kind during the weekends.
No advance payment is required prior to your visit. Payment can be done on the day of your visit at our Welcome Desk through credit card (Visa or MasterCard), debit or cash.
If payment is not made on the day of your visit, we will invoice your school/organization in the week following. A separate email from McGill’s Accounts Payable team will be sent to you or the billing representative you will have designated on your reservation form.
For any questions regarding payment, please redpath.museum [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Inquiry%20on%20payment%20of%20Group%20activity) (contact us by email).
Divide the groups into smaller sub-groups as required. For Guided Tours and Science and Culture Labs, this number will be mentioned in your confirmation.
