Current Employee Self-Service Systems VS. Workday

Many employee self-service tools in Minerva, Present and other systems will be moved into Workday. All McGill staff will be able to view and edit their personal information instantly, with no more paper forms or lengthy processes across multiple systems.

As well, Workday’s user-friendly interface provides a single point of access to enter your hours, request vacation, access pay stubs and tax slips, etc. What’s more, you can track the status of your requests in real-time!

Part of what makes Workday so intuitive is that all functionalities are accessible in multiple places: on your personalized homepage, in your worker profile and through the search tool. Watch our short video on Basic Navigation and Self-Service to learn more and view the system in action!

Please note:

  • Some functionalities will require documentation and/or approvals;
  • After they move into Workday, the content and layout of documents and forms will differ;
  • Some existing information will not be migrated into Workday – but it will not be lost. More information will follow as we approach go-live.
