 stract: Different neurodegenerative disorders often share common risk fact
 ors\, yet have complex and varied clinical manifestations\, even within di
 agnostic categories. In my talk I will present work on how we can use larg
 e neuroimaging datasets to examine factors that influence heterogeneity (g
 enetics\, age\, sex\, etc) within specific neurodegenerative disorders. I 
 will then demonstrate how we can use experimental models to further study 
 the impact of neuropathological actors and their influence on neuroanatomi
 cal\, behavioural\, and cognitive trajectories. The goal is to demonstrate
  how these two streams of inquiry can be used to provide complementary inf
 ormation regarding the significant variability consistently observed in in
 dividuals suffering from neurodegenerative disorders.\n
