To our psychology undergraduates:
We hope that you are well and managing the unprecedented uncertainties in the world and at McGill. This two-week period of no classes has provided professors the time and attention to figure out how to deliver the completion of your courses in some realistic manner. We realize that the modifications developed are far from perfect and, despite lots of thoughtful discussion, these modifications are unlikely to have anticipated every possible scenario. But our overriding concern is to help you and your classmates complete your academic term under varied and difficult circumstances. We know that you have questions and the department is creating a Frequently Asked Questions page for undergraduate psychology majors and other students enrolled in psychology courses. We expect in the coming days and weeks to add significantly to this page.
At this time your health and the health of the community is paramount so we are all striving to follow the science of public health on social distancing. However, social distancing does not preclude virtual connection. This message and the FAQ page are small steps to connect with you but the undergrad team and I are exploring additional ways that we can connect with you in the coming weeks.
Be well and be wise.
