Registration is open! Neuroimaging in Montreal / Neuroimagerie à Montréal - December 5, 2022

Since the installation of the first positron emission tomography scanner in 1975 and the founding of the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) at The Neuro in 1984, Montreal has been a major international hub for multi-modal neuroimaging and neuroinformatics research.   In the early 2000’s the establishment of the Unité de Neuroimagerie Fonctionnelle (UNF) at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal, Université de Montréal, the Cerebral Imaging Centre (CIC) at the Douglas Research Centre, McGill University, and the Prevention, Evaluation, Rehabilitation & Formation (PERFORM) Centre at Concordia University created a unique dynamic milieu with pioneering work in data acquisition and analyses methods, advancing our understanding of the healthy and diseased brain.

This inaugural scientific event will allow members of these four research centres to showcase their new discoveries and learn more about the cutting-edge neuroimaging facilities available in Montreal and the new inter-institutional collaborative initiatives that have been established and are planned in the near future.
