Dr. Gustavo Turecki named as a Member of the US National Academy of Medicine

On October 18, Dr. Gustavo Turecki was announced as a member of the US National Academy of Medicine. He is one of 10 international members named to the US NAM. Election to the Academy recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. Dr. Turecki was named for his work in elucidating mechanisms whereby early-life adversity increases lifetime suicide risk. Congratulations Dr. Turecki!
