McGill is proudly one of the most international universities in the world. Our faculty members hail from over 70 countries and drive research that has global impact. More than a quarter of our students are international, representing almost 150 different countries.
In 2016, the Office of the Provost and Vice Principal (Academic) took responsibility of the University’s International portfolio with a view to complementing this on-campus diversity. Our goal is to facilitate the expansion of McGill’s international reach and engagement with respect to institutional partnerships, student and faculty mobility, international research and teaching collaborations, curriculum innovation, and opportunity for digital connections.
Looking ahead, we commit to being a leading example of the global university in the 21st century, and to preparing our graduates to be global citizens.
