Xiu-Jing Cao, Ph.D.

I received my Ph.D in Neuroscience from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2008. I obtained my Masters degree in Epidemiology from Anhui Medical University in 1998. From 1998 to 2010, I worked as an instructor, followed by associated professor in the Department of Child and Maternal Health in Anhui Medical University. Based on this background, my research experience mainly consisted of child and adolescent populations and neuro-related animal studies. Since 2008, my research interest focuses on the combination of population and experimental studies.

In King’s laboratory, I used human data on prenatal exposure from the Quebec ice storm and did some animal work to better understand the result in humans.
