I am a Research Assistant working on the Iowa Flood Study at the University of Iowa, under the direction of Dr. Michael O’Hara and Dr. Suzanne King. I graduated from Cornell College with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and French. During my time at Cornell, I had the pleasure of being a Research Assistant for Dr. Melinda Green studying the biological, psychological, and sociocultural predictors of eating disorders. I went on to get a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Colorado College where I studied anxiety, and how to reduce it, in an elementary-aged foreign-language-immersion classroom. Following graduate school, I worked as an Admissions Assessment Clinician at an eating disorder treatment center in Colorado.
