DESCRIPTION: \n\nMy laboratory is interested in the basic principles of neu
 ronal communication in the hippocampal network. We aim to better understan
 d how spatial information is processed and coded by hippocampal cells. We 
 pay particular attention to the properties of synaptic interactions betwee
 n mossy fibers and CA3 pyramidal cells during burst activity. Granule cell
 s fire in bursts when the animal is in a particular spatial location\, sug
 gesting that this form of communication is a key element of spatial inform
 ation processing.\n\nThis seminar will take place in-person and online (de
