Welcome Dr. Bayane Sabsabi

The Department of Pediatrics would like to introduce our newest member, Dr. Bayane Sabsabi, appointed an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neonatology (MCH).

As a native Montrealer, I have had the opportunity to complete both my residency and medical school training at McGill University. I then continued my training in neonatology at McMaster University and was able to pursue further training through the Excellence in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program (EQUIPS) at the University of Toronto. My primary research interests lie in improving the quality of different education curriculums and systems for all health care trainees, particularly interdisciplinary team training through simulation. I am excited and am privileged to be back at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where I will also be pursuing in the upcoming year a Master’s in Health Science Education through McMaster University.

Outside of the busy NICU life one must lead, I’m an avid Agatha Christie fan (there’s even a musical!), I play the ukulele and I have become a serious subscriber to the world of trail hiking.
