Evaluating Readiness to Change Health Behaviour in Chronic Pain
Pooja Pradhan has a Bachelors degree in physical therapy (B.P.Th) and has completed in 2014 a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Sara Ahmed. She has worked as a physical therapist for two years, and is a certified Mulligan technique (manual therapy) practitioner and a standard first aider (Red Cross, Canada). Her Masters project involved reviewing outcome measures for readiness to change health behaviour in chronic diseases, identifying optimal content to develop an individualized and a comprehensive readiness evaluation tool, and integrating it in a clinical evaluation process that supports clinicians to actively engage patients in their own health care.
