The Department of Pathology extends a warm welcome to Dr. Jahg Wong, who joined us as an Assistant Professor at the MUHC-Glen site this past August.
Dr. Jahg Wong is a hematopathologist who is board-certified in anatomical pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Wong completed his MD and anatomical pathology residency at l’Université de Montréal. During his residency, Dr. Wong gained hematopathology training at the BC Cancer Agency and Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Wong then completed his hematopathology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. L. Jeffrey Medeiros. Dr. Wong's research focuses on developing diagnostic biomarkers in lymphoproliferative disorders.
