Inaugural McGill Pathology Updates Course: A One-Day Comprehensive Review of Diagnostic Pathology

The Department of Pathology is proud to celebrate the success of the inaugural McGill Annual Pathology Updates Course: A One-Day Comprehensive Review of Diagnostic Pathology, held on September 12, 2026.

The course featured expert-led lectures covering a broad range of pathology subspecialties, including breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, liver, head and neck, dermatopathology, hematopathology, genitourinary pathology, cytopathology, and molecular pathology. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest diagnostic approaches, evolving classification systems, advances in molecular testing, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in pathology.

The Department was honoured to welcome distinguished faculty speakers, including Drs. Lara Richer, Hungjun Wang, Mauro Saieg, Greta Evaristo, Marc Pusztaszeri, May Chergui, Nadine Demko, Fadi Brimo, and Basile Tessier-Cloutier, whose expertise and engaging presentations contributed to the event's success.

We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers, participants, organizers, and sponsors for helping make this course a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another day of learning and innovation.
