James is a MSc student in McGill’s Biomedical Ethics Unit & Department of Experimental Medicine (supervised by Mary Ellen Macdonald). His thesis is titled, A study on the perspectives of Canadian hospice workers on medical assistance in dying. For this work, he is examining the perspectives of hospice workers on what opportunities and challenges medical assistance in dying brings to hospice palliative care within free standing hospices (estimated completion: May 2020) James is also working as a research assistant on the project: A study of the perspectives of youth regarding medical assistance in dying for mature minors.
