 pain - often invisible. With the GLOBAL WALK AGAINST PAIN\, we raise aware
 ness for this condition.\n\nA global movement.\n\nThe GLOBAL WALK AGAINST 
 PAIN is an international initiative bringing together pain research center
 s worldwide to make chronic pain more visible.\n\nAt multiple locations ar
 ound the world\, local walking events take place simultaneously. Participa
 nts walk lap after lap along a defined route\, and each location records t
 he total distance covered. These results are combined into a global total 
 distance and displayed on walkagainstpain.org.\n\nTogether\, we aim to wal
 k thousands of kilometers - whether you walk 1 km or 40 km\, every step mo
 ves us forward. Join us on August 29\,2026  from 10am -12pm. To take part 
 in the walk\, registration is mandatory. Registering also entails you sign
 ing a liability waiver for the event. The Walk will be held on a trail aro
 und Beaver Lake (Lac du Castors) on Mount Royal . Onsite check in starts a
