DESCRIPTION:We will start the 2024-25 Academic year off with a day long eve
 nt on August 30th (see flyer).\n\nIt will start with an orientation sessio
 n for all new students and staff at 10 am being organized by the PCSA. It 
 will include a general introduction to McGill (and the resources that are 
 available to them) and to the Pain Centre. Please bring this to the attent
 ion of any new people joining your lab this summer or who plan on being he
 re in September.\n\nFollowing this\, we will hold a “Meet and Greet” recep
 tion for all faculty\, staff and trainees in the Centre. This is an opport
 unity to reconnect with old friends as well as welcome our new student coh
 ort. With the construction happening all around us here at the Duff\, this
  event is in place of our more usual Summer BBQ. While there won’t be any 
 grills\, there will be plenty of other good food and drinks to enjoy\, so 
 please mark your calendar and join us kicking off the new school year righ
 t.\n
