This Office is the main contact for any issue regarding student safety and well-being on both campuses. In the case of sexual harassment, sexual assault and abuse the Dean of Students can authorise emergency safety measures, coordinate conflict resolution/mediation, and can also coordinate access to various university services.

Offers confidential, informal, independent, and impartial dispute resolution services to all members of the community by providing information, advice, intervention and referrals. You can contact this office for support if you are unsure about which rules, policies or procedures apply to your situation, or if you need someone to help clarify a situation or circumstance affecting you, or if you feel that a particular university policy or regulation has been applied unfairly or erroneously.
McGill Security

McGill Security is responsible for investigating all serious crimes on campus and liaises with police forces conducting investigations that involve McGill University. McGill Security service can also facilitate a disclosure and connect you with the appropriate resources on and off campus to file a report.

The SEIA serves as the intake person for inquiries regarding or complaints of harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination made by students and members of the academic or administrative and support staff. The office also offers mediation and can help resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise among students, faculty and staff, when the parties agree to or request a mediated solution.

CAVAC’s offer confidential and free services focused on providing people who are victims of crime with tools to regain a sense of control over their lives.
