Valérie Bourassa (she/her)

Biography: Valérie is a PhD Candidate in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University and studies mechanisms underlying chronic pain. Prior to joining McGill, Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she studied scientific misconceptions and conceptual editing. When she is not doing science or thinking about pedagogy, Valérie spends time with her two cats, Wesley and Rogelio.
