Evaluating submissions

The selection committee will view entries between March 20th and March 22nd.  All entries will be showcased on our website through summer 2013 9provided we receiv the consent of the creators).

The winning entry will be selected on March 22nd and announced at the end of the McGill Disability Awareness Week on Friday March 22nd at a ceremony which will take place at the OSD at 3 pm.  It will be the closing event of the week.

The creator of the selected entry will receive technical assistance and expertise to transform the basic concept of the initial entry into a short film/ documentary, through summer and fall 2013.  This will include access to professional studio post-production expertise and equipment.

The short film will be showcased on the OSD website through 2013-14 and the winner will receive assistance from the OSD, through 2013-14, in disseminating the work at various professional forums and conferences.

Tara Flanagan (Course instructor and researcher, Chair of the Joint Senate Sub-Committee on Persons with Disabilities)

Rachel Desjourdy (Student representative & Student Advisory Committee representative)

Andrea Miller-Nesbitt (Librarian, OSD liaison with Libraries)
