Dr. Burman is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University and Orthopedic Surgeon at the McGill University Health Center, where he serves as the CTU Director of the MUHC Orthopedic Sports Medicine Service, and Fellowship Director of the McGill Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Clinical Fellowship.
He is a graduate of the McGill University Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, and received further Subspecialty Fellowship Training in the areas of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy & Shoulder Surgery at McGill University, University of Oklahoma & University of Toronto.
He has an interest in the orthopedic care of athletes of all ages and levels, from adolescent to aging athletes and from recreational weekend warriors to elite and professional athletes.
Dr. Burman currently serves as Team Physician and Head Orthopedic Surgeon for CF Montreal (MLS) ,Team Physician and Head Orthopedic Surgeon for the Montreal Alouettes (CFL), Orthopedic Surgeon for McGill University Athletics, as well as consultant for several Collegiate, National, and Olympic level Athletes.
