Personnel
Scope of work: Designing parts/fixtures, making and/or modifying fixtures, machining prototypes including rapid prototyping, designing experimental setups, test setups, program testing equipment, run tests, offload data, help in data interpretation
- Junior Engineer: $350/day
- Senior Engineer: $500/day
These fees include all overhead. Extra fees applicable to use major test equipment. For contracts spanning several days, a potential 20% negotiable discount can be applied.
Major Equipment - MTS or Instron
MTS or Instron: $400 for first week. $250 per extra week
Notes:
- Extra costs could be applicable for Operator. Partial week = full work week (5 working days)
- Use of equipment includes using any existing testing fixtures/setups. Extra modification charges might apply.
- The maintenance fee to use Instron or MTS is to be paid to a specified MUHC fund. The fee helps with equipment maintenance and occasional upgrades or replacements.
