You’ve decided that you want to live off-campus. How will that decision affect you? Are you worried about missing out on fun activities, important information, and other campus resources? Fear no more; Off-Campus and Commuter Student Support is here to help!
We’re committed to making sure that you know about and are able to access all the student services offered here at McGill. Our goal is to make sure that off-campus and commuter students have the resources and support they need to thrive at McGill – beyond simply attending classes.
Whether you are a first-year living in the Milton-Parc community, a graduate student from another country, or a local Montrealer, this page is where you find useful and helpful information regarding interesting activities, campus services, or just resources in general! Check this page regularly to see an update of events, workshops, activities and so much more!
The Off-Campus & Commuter Student Support project aims to help provide support to the 80% of McGill students who identify as commuters.
An area of focus for our programming is the incoming first year undergraduate students who are not living in a McGill residence.
We have also identified the four main groups of off-campus students at McGill: out-of-province, Montreal residents, international and students who have transitioned from residence to off-campus.
