Impact of the environment on reproductive health. Among several chemical contaminants, some of them have been identified as endocrine disrupters. Exposure to one or more of these chemicals right from pregnancy may have an impact on adult reproductive health.

Biography: 

Dr Patricia Monnier came to Montreal from the University of Nancy in France, were she served as a professor in Reproductive medicine from 1998 to 2006. Also, she holds a PhD in cell biology and immunology. Upon her arrival in Canada, she joined the Université de Montréal as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was appointed Full Clinical Professor in November 2008. She has participated in major grants funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the MSSS and Health Canada. She joined McGill University in September 2010.
