Facilities and resources are available for aquatic, terrestrial and laboratory studies in such areas as ecology, population dynamics, pest management, physiology, pathology and systematics.
Affiliated with the Department is the Lyman Entomological Museum and Research Laboratory which houses nearly three million specimens.
