Guidelines and Submission Form for Letter(s) of Support

A maximum of two (2) letters of support is permitted. Letters of support must be submitted by their authors. They may be written in either French or English. They should not exceed 500 words.  

 Principal and Vice-Chancellor Suzanne Fortier created the Principal’s Prize for Public Engagement through Media to recognize outstanding achievement among those who share their knowledge with the public and the media.     

Applicants are judged in four (4) areas:   

  • Knowledge sharing through traditional media   
  • Knowledge sharing through social media    
  • Direct public engagement    
  • Activities that have an impact on society

Letter(s) of support must include the name of the applicant and the category in which they are applying on each page. Please also include your name and contact information in the letter.   

Letters must be submitted by January 18, 2021 at midnight.   

When submitting your letter, please use the following format for the document name: [Prize Category]_[Last, First Names of Applicant or Group]_[ Last, First Names of Author].   
Files must be less than 2 MB.
Allowed file types: pdf doc docx.
